What Did We Provide?
PSI Global provided Offshore Standard Welders for the project.
What We Did
The team at PSI Global were engaged to supply a team of welders for a project in Newcastle. As there was no local skilled labour available, we were able to source labour from Romania. Sourcing labour from Europe included sorting a Ganger/Translator, completing Right to Work checks with the Home Office, finding accommodation close to site, arranging travel to and from the UK and to and from site. Travel was also arranged for holidays back to Romania every three months.
Additionally, we scheduled and had each worker complete a welding test ahead of their travel to the UK, and ensured we had a Welfare Manager attend site fortnightly.
