Our Canteen Services were created with the wellbeing of our workforce in mind. This has always been a top priority for the team at PSI Global. When our workers are healthy, they’re more focused and have more energy to get the job done for our clients. It’s something that supports everyone’s physical and mental health. A win all around!
These services are taken on-site specifically for our workforce. This means they have healthy options for breakfast, lunch, and something they can take away with them for dinner in the evening. It started in 2021, when Managing Director Steve Crawford approached the Liverpool-based company Fuel Cabin to bring healthy eating on-site for our workforce.
This was initially tested when PSI Global was working on the M6 Smart Motorway Project in early 2021. As the workers on-site were working in the central reservation, they were unable to leave site until the end of the day, making the healthy eating option an essential one for a workforce that had little to no options available to them.
The feedback received from clients and candidates has been positive. Many working on-site have said the healthy options don’t leave them feeling as tired and they appreciated the option.
